Tensions between right-to-roam walking groups and farmers is nothing new so when DI Binnie Khatri asks Jude to step in and join the Malvern Rambling and Roaming Society, she is torn.
On the one hand, as a farmer she isn’t keen to encourage the right to roam; on the other hand she thinks it might give her an opportunity to educate the group on the pitfalls of rampant dogs and opened gates.
What she didn’t bank on was a murderer infiltrating the group and yet again putting her smack bang in the middle of another investigation. But this is exactly what happens.
Could it be a case of one farmer being pushed too far and seeking revenge, or are the rest of the walking group hiding dark secrets that they’d rather didn’t come to the surface?
Whatever their motive, can Jude and Binnie uncover the truth before they strike again?
